Your questions answered

Here we have answered the questions we are most often asked about the kindergarten.

The forest kindergarten has 4 classes: Fındık (36/42 months), Meşe Palamutu (42/48 months), Cevizler (48/60 months) and Kozalaklar (60/72 months). Each class has a maximum of 20 children and is staffed by one class teacher and one support teacher.

Kindergarten children have their lessons in their own separate classrooms on the kindergarten campus, in subject studios and in the garden.

The forest school is open from 07:45 to 17:00. Lessons begin at 09:00 and end at 16:00. As our school is affiliated with the Ministry of National Education (MEB), the MEB academic calendar applies.

They do not need to be. Their problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities are not harmed; thanks to their excitement about learning, they approach new things more comfortably. According to research carried out in Germany, they perform better in tests than children who took part in an intensive early academic programme. At forest school, children tend to have better social skills, to be more emotionally resilient and to be more persistent.

For kindergarten stationery information, please contact the school; the current list is shared during the admission process.
