Only 2,000 m² of our 10,000 m² campus is indoor space. With a capacity of 240 students, each child has about 42 m² of space in total (33 m² of open nature), in a breathing ecosystem home to more than 80 trees and 20 different bird species.

One class per grade and 12 classrooms in total, each with at most 20 students. With our team of 22 specialist educators accompanying our 240 students, a boutique learning model focused on every child’s unique potential and development.
- Classrooms Without Walls4 Outdoor Classrooms
With our approach of turning nature into a living classroom, dedicated outdoor learning spaces for 20 students each in different corners of our campus. Each one bears the name of the tree whose shade it sits under (Pine, Oak, Myrtle, Carob); with their blackboards, wooden desks and natural textures, these open-air classrooms take lessons straight under the sky.

What would you like your child to learn?
At Serpil Orman Okulları, children learn the way life teaches: by observing, asking questions and making things. At the foot of the Toros Mountains, among centuries-old olive, carob and pine trees, what they learn and what they do are never far apart.
Millions of years ago, the land on which our school stands lay beneath a warm, shallow sea. Our children reach the traces of this past with their own hands: they carefully examine and research the scallop-shell fossils they find in the soil, then display them in the nature cabinet in our library, touching history as they do.
Learning here is never confined to the boundaries of a single subject: while one class eagerly watches the seed it planted begin to sprout, another works out the area, perimeter and angles for the shelter it will build in the forest, and yet another presents the project it has been working on to families and friends at an exhibition. Because their work holds genuine meaning for them and for those around them, everything they learn takes root far more deeply in their minds.

Since our founding, the curriculum at Serpil Orman Okulları has been a living ecosystem that, like the nature of the Taurus Mountains, constantly renews itself and breathes. From kindergarten to the end of middle school, our children gain deep knowledge across different disciplines while experimenting freely, making things and building meaningful connections with the world around them.
Learning in the forest, immersed in nature, does not mean we compromise on our academic goals; on the contrary, it nourishes the curiosity to learn from life itself. Our students analyse what they read in depth, question, reason and reach solid intellectual competence. At our school, nature is not a passive backdrop; it is a living classroom that feeds children’s curiosity and their desire to create. This offers a holistic learning experience that engages the mind, the heart and the hands at once.
Thanks to our academic programme, carried out in full alignment with the learning outcomes of the Ministry of National Education (MEB), this approach is a very solid preparation for our children’s future. Our living curriculum nourishes each child’s unique potential while keeping every door open: whether they prepare for the path to a high-quality high school and university or bring their own ventures to life, they gain the strong foundation they need to chart their path with confidence in the fast-changing world of the future.
